Nipsey Hussle already has his eyes set on his next musical venture just over a year out from his acclaimed and Grammy-nominated Victory Lap debut. The Los Angeles rapper sat down with REAL92.3 for an interview Friday (March 8), where he detailed plans to finish a joint album with Meek Mill for the summertime.
“We’ve been cutting ideas and just getting in. We got a couple records that’s going to go off for the summer. It’s not hard at all we just got to lock in and get the records done,” the “Racks in the Middle” artist admits. “We working right now as we speak. We on album time right now. Next thing we going to put out musically is an album.”
The All Money In ceo confirmed that we can expect the project this year. “We would like to come summertime,” he said. Nip then gave his thoughts on Meek’s business mentality following his release from jail last April. “Wisdom. You be in the game for a while and you learn this shit and you figure out what works for you,” the 33-year-old explained. “I just think Meek’s elevated. He applied the game he got from being in the game for a while.”
