Bernie Sanders will reportedly appear on Saturday Night Live this weekend, per ABC News’ Twitter.
This will mark the first time that the senator, who is running a close race against Hillary Clinton to be the Democratic nominee for president, will appear on the late night program, a rite of passage for politicians. (A rep for Sanders did not immediately respond to a request for confirmation, although Saturday Night Live cameos aren’t typically confirmed.)
Larry David, who has memorably played Sanders in a few episodes of the show, is hosting, so expect a face-to-face meet up.
So far this season, Hillary Clinton made a cameo (meeting Kate McKinnon as Hillary), and Donald Trump hosted an episode in November.
