Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly opted for a surrogate to carry their third child.
According to multiple sources, the two paid $68,850 to a surrogacy agency who helped the couple find a surrogate. They will pay her a total of $45,000 in increments of $4,500/month for 10 months with a bonus of $5,000 for each possible multiple child (i.e twins, triplets, etc).
Kardashian West’s robbery during Paris Fashion Week last October reignited her desire to have more children, reports People, despite the extreme health risks associated with pregnancy for women who have placenta accenta like Kardashian. The painful and potentially life-threatening condition occurs when the placenta attaches deeply to the uterine wall. After giving birth to her first child, North West, Kim detailed on her blog how her doctor had to detach the placenta.
“I’ve come to the conclusion in my mind that I can’t carry another one,” Kardashian West said to her mom, Kris Jenner, on their hit reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. “So now I want to explore surrogacy.”
The surrogacy reports surfaced the same day Kardashian West’s first beauty line, KKW beauty launches online at 9am PST.
