Ever since the premiere of the Netflix reboot of Queer Eye, Antoni Porowski has become one of the most talked-about names from the show. Whether it’s fans talking about whether he actually knows how to cook, his love of avocados or his inherent good looks both on the show and on his Instagram page, the food and wine expert has become one of the most-memed members of the new Fab Five.
Now, Porowski is inviting his fans to come see for themselves that he can cook a fabulous meal. During the cast’s interview with the 92nd Street Y, Porowski revealed that he will be opening his very own eatery in New York City. The foodie explained that he has felt inspired by certain food items and wants to share his meals with his fans.

“I’m all about, like, cheese and pork belly and decadence, and as a result of the increased vanity of being on camera all the time and working out and eating healthy, I’m developing a fast-casual food concept restaurant that I’m gonna be opening here in New York,” he said. He added that he probably wasn’t “supposed to talk about it,” but clearly felt that he should share the news with his fans.
Along with talking about his restaurant, Porowski talked about his upcoming cookbook, which he says does not currently feature any recipes that include his favorite fruit, avocados. “It’s a 100-recipe cookbook. And I think … oh my God … not one of them has avocados in it,” he said. “It’s turned, I realize, into my own culinary memoir, which I’m super excited about. I’ve submitted 50 recipes and I’m working on the rest, and I’m super excited for it to come out.”
