Expect the unexpected from Travis Scott. The Grammy-nominated rapper, who received nods in three categories this year at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards, started his performance alongside an unlikely pair: James Blake and Earth, Wind & Fire‘s Philip Bailey. Together, they performed a mellowed out version of “Stop Trying To Be God” from his latest, chart-topping album, Astroworld, on the Billboard 200.
Scott was then seen rapping in a cage where, turning up the heat with a high-octane performance of “No Bystanders.” Meanwhile, nearly a hundred peope stormed the stage and started to climb the cage.
The Astroworld rapper ended up climbing out of the cage and diving into the moshpit to join the party. It was an absolute rager onstage, to say the least.
