Barry Gibb has yet to speak publicly about the loss of his brother Robin, who died Sunday at 62, instead the sole surviving Bee Gee has released a touching video montage to express his grief.
Titled “Bodding,” the late singer’s nickname, and set to the Bee Gees ballad “Heart Like Mine,” the video splices moving snapshots of the brothers Gibb at various points in their career.
Featuring Gibb’s quavering tenor, “Heart Like Mine” was released on the band’s 1993 album “Size Isn’t Everything.”
Robin’s twin Maurice died at 53 in 2003 of complications of a twisted intestine, and youngest brother Andy died at age 30 in 1988 due to an inflammation of his heart.
Gibb’s funeral will reportedly be held near Oxfordshire, England, where he lived with his wife, Dwina. According to The Sun newspaper, the family is also planning an elaborate memorial service at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, however Billboard has not been able to confirm such plans.
