Sigala & Becky Hill, “Wish You Well”
London-based DJ/producer Sigala (real name: Bruce Fielder) teaming with fellow Londoner, singer Becky Hill, debuts on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart (dated Aug. 3) at No. 34 with “Wish You Well.” It’s the sixth chart hit for Sigala and the third for Hill. The track collects airplay on core-dance affiliates, including Music Choice’s Dance/EDM channel, KNHC (C89.5) Seattle and WCPY Chicago, IL, according to Nielsen Music.
Roberto Surace, “Joys”
Italian DJ/producer Roberto Surace scores his first-ever Billboard chart appearance, jumping onto Dance Club Songs at No. 48 with “Joys.” Born in Rome and raised in Calabria, Italy, Surace has been a touring DJ in Ibiza and in clubs throughout Europe. “Joys,” a tech house track, serves as his Defected label debut.
Surace tells Billboard, “I woke up with ‘Joys’ already in my mind, I remember the only thing I said to my girlfriend that morning: I’m gonna do something special, I feel it! The feeling I woke up that day was pure joy!”

Mysterious electronic act 1788-L lurches onto the Dance/Electronic Album Sales chart at No. 14 with S Y N T H E T I K (EP). It’s the first-ever Billboard chart appearance for 1788-L, known for remixes of tracks by Virtual Self, Daft Punk and Kraftwerk, to name a few. S Y N T H E T I K (EP) is the fourth set released on Zeds Dead’s label, Deadbeats, to chart, following releases by Zeds Dead, The Shades and Peekaboo. Touring in the U.S. since June, the act is set to appear at New York’s Electric Zoo Evolved festival on Sept. 1, among other appearances.
