K-pop royalty BoA teamed up with Siedah Garrett to sing one of the king of pop’s biggest hits on its milestone anniversary.
Released through BoA’s label SM Entertainment through their SM Station channel, the duo blended their vocals on a choral-infused version of Michael Jackson’s 1988 song “Man In The Mirror.” The video was recorded at Westlake Recording Studios, where the hit was originally recorded 30 years ago.
Garrett co-wrote the motivational track with Glen Ballard, and BoA is a self-proclaimed fan of the music legend. She has previously performed covers of Jackson’s songs, including “Billie Jean.”
The duet was released the same day SM Entertainment announced through a post on Facebook that the Korean label had teamed up with YouTube to host a special concert to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s “Man In the Mirror.”
