Is this the future of fashion? More celebrities have joined in on Simon Huck’s art experiment A. Human, which has started to spread with even more intricate and bizarre temporary implants. On Monday (Aug. 27) Kim Kardashian West posted a video on her Twitter featuring her latest accessory, a temporary, implanted light-up choker, which is a bold choice for someone who famously said, “You don’t put a bumper sticker on a Bentley.”
Joining her in this art experience is model Chrissy Teigen, who showed off her sprouting angel wings on her Instagram story as she thanked the exhibit for her feathers, as well as Queer Eye star and fashion guru Tan France, who sported an implanted gill-like, ruffled high collar with quartz crystals growing out of it.
France captioned his post on Instagram, “I was lucky enough to get an exclusive glimpse of A. Human’s new collection, and it looks like I’m taking something home. This lil beauty is The Tudor, and you can see it for yourself this New York Fashion Week when they open their flagship store.”
With the interactive exhibition opening next month (Sept. 5) in New York City and the trend gaining viral levels of attention, this celebrity social media storm will definitely make the event one worth keeping eyes on in the future.
