The multinational record label and distribution company Entertainment One (eOne) announced Thursday (May 30) that Sean Stevenson will be joining the team as evp and general manager, music — effective on June 5. He will oversee marketing, sales, digital and general management and report to Chris Taylor, global president, music.
“We are excited to welcome Sean to eOne to bring his marketing, digital and operations experience to the team,” said Taylor in a statement. “Our music division has expanded to management and live while also growing on a global level. It’s going to be great to have Sean onboard to extend that vision even further.”
Stevenson’s previous positions include svp and partner at FleishmanHillard, svp and general manager at High Road and digital marketing manager at Island/Def Jam Music Group. He has been in the marketing and PR industry for 18 years and his resume boasts work with brands like EMI, Universal, MTV, Warner Bros., Coca Cola and Nike.
