GOT7 will be the first ever K-pop group to appear in-studio on NBC’s Today show, it was announced today (June 21).
The septet will hit up the Rockefeller Center, New York City-based morning show on June 26, one day before they hold a concert at Newark’s Prudential Center on June 27.
The members of GOT7 — JB, Jinyoung, Jackson, BamBam, Youngjae, Yugyeom, and Mark — will also appear on local New York City Fox affiliate Fox5’s Good Day New York. They will be featured on-air on the morning of their concert. They previously appeared on GDNY last year during their prior stateside tour.
The two media appearances mark the start of the North and South American leg of GOT7’s 2019 Keep Spinning world tour, which will see the act perform in Newark, Toronto, Dallas, Los Angeles, Oakland, Mexico City, and Santiago in upcoming weeks.
GOT7 most recently released the single “Eclipse” and their Spinning Top: Between Security and Insecurity EP in May. The album debuted at No. 5 on the World Albums chart upon its release.
