Fresh off his collaboration with big DJ Shaq Diesel and Lil Jon, NGHTMRE comes through with another serious stomper. “Redlight” bangs slow and heavy with a spitfire feature from A$AP Ferg. The song is released with a slightly anarchic music video that features Ferg mad stylin’ in a black, feathery jacket.
“A$AP Ferg is one of the hip-hop icons I’ve always dreamed of working with,” NGHTMRE is quoted in a press release. “It took a lot of time and effort to really make this record come together, but throughout the process, I’ve gained even more respect for Ferg and his vision. Throughout the shoot, Ferg was on-site, giving new ideas and feedback. It was an honor to be able to create a piece of art with this legend.”

It opens around an ole-timey-esque horn swing and quickly erupts in trunk-bustin’ bass. Ferg mauls the beat between signature growls. It’s a solid step into the hip-hop realm for the already diverse producer.
“NGHTMRE is an amazingly talented producer and DJ,” A$AP Ferg says. “It was a thrill to work with him on this song and video.”
