It was a family outing at Nicole Richie‘s Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (April 2), as the actress and fashion designer was joined by her husband Joel Madden, as well as the couple’s two children on the red carpet.
Richie and Madden’s 16-year-old daughter Harlow and 14-year-old son Sparrow made their red carpet debut at the event, posing with their parents and bearing a striking resemblance. Nicole’s father Lionel Richie and mother Brenda Harvey-Richie were also in attendance, smiling alongside the family on the red carpet.
Richie plays executive Rose Lindsey in the remake of the classic 1991 film, Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead, a role previously played by Joanna Cassidy. The Wade Allain-Marcus-directed comedy also stars Simone Joy Jones as Sue Ellen Crandell, who was previously portrayed by Christina Applegate.

It’s been an exciting year for the Richie family, as Nicole’s sister Sofia Richie is expecting her first child with husband Elliot Grainge. In an interview with Vogue, Richie revealed that she took a pregnancy test before attending an Ed Sheeran concert with Grainge because “I kind of knew it was going to be a boozy night, and I was a few days late on my period, and I wanted to be generally safe.” She sent her husband to the drug store to buy three more tests to confirm after the first one came back positive. Richie and Grainge were married last April in the South of France.
