Do you love me? Do you need me? If we’re talking about TroyBoi‘s new video for “Do You?,” it’s a firm “yes.”
The clip features captivating choreography by three-time World Hip Hop Dance Championship winner Parris Goebel. You definitely know her work from Justin Bieber’s “Sorry”, as well as that singer’s “Company” and Beyonce and Nicki Minaj’s “Feeling Myself” teaser. For this video, Goebel mirrors TroyBoi’s sample of Lebanese hit “Do You Love Me” by the Bendaly Family with an homage to the dance traditions of that region, albeit with modern seductive flair. It’s hypnotizing and inspiring, just like the song’s alluring sound.
“Do You?” is a cut from TroyBoi’s recently released Vibez Vol. 3 EP. The video is paired with updated tour dates for his fall 2019 Nostalgia run, for which tickets are now on sale.
