Stephanie Poetri and Jackson Wang want a superhero-level love in the adorable music video for their new song. Out Tuesday (Oct. 15), the music video for “I Love You 3000 II” features the pair performing the sweet track as they star in a variety of programming on different television channels.
The romantic song is featured on the newly released 88rising collaborative album Head in the Clouds II and is a remix of Poetri’s original “I Love You 3000,” out in June, and references the line from Avengers: Endgame, with Wang serving as a stand in for the lyrically-referenced Iron Man-like lover.
A soothing pop ballad, “I Love You 3000 II” has Poetri, who hails from Jakarta, and Chinese star Wang, who is both a soloist and a member of K-pop group GOT7, blending their mellow vocals together over a lilting acoustic melody.
The lo-fi music video, which recalls the original version’s video, turns the pair into the actors and hosts appearing on a variety of infomercials, television shows and other various televised content, as they sing about a love like something straight out of a Hollywood movie.
