Justin Timberlake and Tom Ford have long been fans of each other’s work. Since the American designer began dressing Timberlake in 2011, Ford has gone on to style the singer’s music videos and album art, and even designed a staggering 600 individual and exclusive pieces for the 20/20 Experience 2013 world tour.
And though the two aren’t collaborating on another 600-piece collection anytime soon, Ford’s classic menswear spirit continues to inspire Timberlake’s contemporary gentleman style. Fresh from the red carpet, here are five times the pop star has rocked a classy Tom Ford ensemble.

Oscars, Feb. 26
Timberlake attended the 89th Academy Awards in a black one-button Tom Ford tuxedo and bowtie. The traditional outfit featured a textured suit jacket that helped balanced the busy golden fabric of his wife Jessica Biel’s gilded Kaufmanfranco column dress.
The singer later opened the awards ceremony with a performance of his former No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit and best original song nominee “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” from the Trolls soundtrack.

Timberlake walked the Golden Globes red carpet in a charcoal gray, one-button Tom Ford tuxedo with black shawl lapels. His Trolls track “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” was nominated for best original song, while Ford’s Nocturnal Animals neo-noir thriller was nominated for best director.
