With summer in full swing, August was filled to the brim with highly anticipated concerts and festivals.
Outside Lands returned to Golden Gate Park on Aug. 5 through Aug. 7, with Post Malone delivering a high-energy headlining performance complete with fan-favorite tracks and hits like “White Iverson,” “Sunflower,” “Rockstar” and “Congratulations.” Rina Sawayama also dropped jaws on day two of the San Francisco music festival with expert choreography and even more impressive vocals.
Over in Budapest, Hungary, Dua Lipa brought her glimmering hits to the main stage of Sziget Festival. In South Korea, Michelle Zauner of Japanese Breakfast performed at the Incheon Pentaport Music Festival and PSY took the stage at K-Pop Super Live to open Seoul Festa.
In the touring department, the O2 Arena in London was graced by superstars including Christina Aguilera and Travis Scott, while the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Daddy Yankee performed in Las Vegas and Rage Against the Machine took over NYC’s Madison Square Garden.
To wrap things up, Madonna joined Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show for a classroom instruments rendition of “Music,” the title track from the Queen of Pop’s 2000 album.
