Sinaloan Banda El Recodo de Cruz Lizárraga nabs its 20th top 10 on the Latin Airplay chart, as “Gracias por Tu Amor,” featuring David Bisbal, bumps 11-10 on the Jan. 12 ranking. It’s up 15 percent in audience impressions (to 10.22 million) in the week ending Jan. 6, according to Nielsen Music.
“Gracias” is the first single from their anniversary album 80 Años de Música Entre Amigos, Vol. 1, which debuted at No. 12 on the Regional Mexican Albums chart (Oct. 12, 2018). The set celebrates eight decades of hits and features the voices of top Latin acts (Luis Fonsi, Christian Castro, David Bisbal, Yuri, Julio Preciado, Sebastian Yatra and others.)
The single — originally released in 1999 and composed by Raul Enrique Salas — earns Banda’s first top 10 in more than two years.
Bisbal, meanwhile, ups his career top 10 count to 10.
