Billboard Dance Chart Upstarts: Slushii, Netsky, Felix Cartal & LIGHTS

Each week, Billboard Dance looks at songs & albums rising on Billboard's dance charts.

Slushii feat. Sofia Reyes, “Never Let You Go”

Los Angeles-based DJ/producer Slushii (real name Julian Scanlan) steps 30-28 in his second week on Billboard‘s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart (dated March 2) with “Never Let You Go,” featuring singer Sofia Reyes. It’s the second and highest-charting entry for both acts, following Slushii’s “There X2” (featuring Marshmello; No. 34, February 2018) and Reyes’ featured vocal turn on Cash Cash’s “How to Love” (No. 29, July 2016). “Never” nets airplay on core-dance affiliates, led by Music Choice’s Dance/EDM channel, KNHC (C89.5) Seattle and SiriusXM’s BPM, according to Nielsen Music.
