Billboard looks back and counts down the top five songs that ruled the summer of 2018.

Rania Aniftos:
We’ve made it to 2018, where rap and hip-hop dominated the summer and Drake was on fire, hitting the top five twice. Let’s get started with our No. 5 song, “Lucid Dreams” by Juice WRLD.

Drake’s first hit in the top five songs of the summer comes in at No. 4. His hit “Nice for What” hits that spot with a music video featuring actors Olivia Wilde, Tracee Ellis Ross and Zoe Saldana, among many others.

Stepping away from Drake for a minute, our third biggest song of the summer features a collab between Maroon 5 and Cardi B with their hit “Girls Like You.” This video also featured a ton of famous women, including Gal Godot, Tiffany Haddish and Jennifer Lopez.

Cardi B was so hot in the summer of 2018 with another hit, this time alongside Bad Bunny and J Balvin with “I Like It.”

Drake joins us again on the list with the No. 1 song of the summer. The smoking-hot rapper takes the top spot in 2018 with “In My Feelings,” and had us feeling all the feels all summer long.

Next week we end the decade with 2019’s top songs of the summer.
