Gisele Bündchen has been the world’s highest-paid model since 2002, but 15 years later, Kendall Jenner is taking the crown for 2017 after raking in $22 million this year.
Thanks to major deals with Adidas, Estee Lauder and La Perla (among others), her family’s E! reality television show and her clothing line with sister Kylie, Jenner is taking the top spot on Forbes’ yearly highest-paid models list after having just made her first appearance on the list in 2015. Also contributing to the 22-year-old’s income are the many social media endorsements aimed at her 85 million Instagram followers.
37-year-old Bündchen comes in second, earning $17.5 million, while Chrissy Teigen makes her debut on the list, rounding out the top three with $13.5 million.
According to Forbes, the 10 highest-paid models list is determined by calculating pre-tax earnings brought in between June 1, 2016 and June 1, 2017 and includes income from brand contracts including cosmetics, fragrance, footwear and apparel. Hadid sisters Gigi and Bella, body-activist Ashley Graham and model-veteran Karlie Kloss also made the top 10 list.
